End of Boot Camp

The first World Changer Reality Boot Camp ended yesterday. Although, there will be no more daily sharing of what we are doing, the spirit of the Boot Camp will continue.

I will finish what was started by the WC Boot Camp: Helping Charities and Non Profit achieve $2,000 a month.

One door is closing, another one is opening.

Day 75 - Result

I had a follow up meeting with the Easthampton Library today and talked to Ms. Johanna. She said she has to watch the presentation again because there's a lot of information.

The rest of the day was spent on calling. Out of 20 calls, 15 were voice message and 5 were leads not home (talked to somebody). I also sent follow up e-mails.

Day 74 - Sign up again!

I made a few calls this morning before the conference call but did not get to talk to anybody. Also sent few follow up e-mails.The only reply I got was from Ron who said that he is going to join.

I also made calls and follow up e-mails to the NPOs that I am helping: Children International Obesity Foundation, Teach Them to Care and Autism Solution Center.

Later in the afternoon, I saw that Ron signed up. I also received 4 e-mail reply asking for more information.

Day 73 - Results

After today's conference call, I went to the Easthampton Chamber of Commerce to talk to the President but he was not there. Instead, I was given an updated list of all their members.

I got 3 replies from one of my follow up e-mails today. One is from Johnny who I called last week. He asked for more information.

I made 10 follow up calls today and was able to speak to Rex. (He actually called me back). He asked me for instructions to sign up.

Day 72 - More NPOs

I had an afternoon meeting with the Asst. of the Executive Director of the Easthampton Library, Johananna Douglass, providing more information and offering to make a proposal for the Board of Directors to review. She said that she will talk first to the ED before I make the proposal.

I then went to another library, the Agawam Public Library to talk to the person in charge of fundraising. I was told that it is Bob Kadis who I have to talk to. However, he is not in the office.

The rest of the day was spend on sending follow up e-mails and sending more information. I did not get a chance do follow up calls.

Day 71 - Start of Week 11

After this morning's conference call, I went to the Senior Center to see if the Executive Director is there. Unfortunately, she is not around and I was told that she will be back at 2pm.

I made 12 follow up calls and left messages either asking for a return call or an email when I can call again. I received about 4 e-mails requesting for more information.

However, received an e-mail saying NO to what My Power Mall is offering.I found out that she is a disgruntled MPM member and who have since left the business. I tried asking her phone so I can talk to her but she refused to give it to me.

Day 70 - End of Week 10

This weekend was spent on follow up phone calls and e-mails. Although I was not able to talk to any lead, I got e-mail replies to call back.

One e-mail feedback I got is from Afton who told me to call him back so we can discuss his concern with MPM that he is not buying online.

Bea also e-mailed to tell that she does not have a credit card. She asked me to call Monday.

I had another sign up this week bringing my total sign up to 6.

Day 69- Scripts for Answering Machines

I woke up early today and found that Ginny was also up early (or being in the West Coast, she went to bed late) and sent all boot campers several wonderful scripts to leave for messages in answering machines.

These are applicable for business owners, leads and personal contacts. Here they are:

Day 68 - Visit to NPOs

Today was my schedule to go meet the Agawam Director of Bands, Bill Hueglin, I sent him an e-mail last week so he can watch the video. However, when I met him, he still was not able to watch it. So I gave him an summary of TWCCTW and My Power Mall is. He said he still have a lot of questions but will watch the video He will schedule a meeting with the President of the Band Parents Association, Denise Einzig, next week.

I also met with Julian March who is a member of the Youth Action Coalition, a program that help youth groups. He has seen the video and has lots of question on the payment scheme and membership support. He will make a recommendation to the Executive Director, Stacey Lennard. He will call me next week.

I also went to the Amherst Survival Center to me with Tracey Levy, Program Director and volunteer coordinator. However, due to an emergency meeting with the Board she has to cancel our meeting.

I also went to the office of the Marigold Fund and talked to Gary Moorehead who is co-founder of the Marigold Fund, a nonprofit humanitarian group based in Amherst, MA. I gave him my card and he told me that he will watch it and schedule our next meeting with Debbie Knight who is the Chairman of the Board.

For the rest of the day, I made follow up calls but was not able to talk to anybody. However, in my e-mail follow up, I got a response from several leads like Holly and Amandah who scheduled phone calls.

Day 67- Follow up meetings

I had a follow up meeting with the Easthampton Library Assistant Director (the Executive Director) is on vacation. We reviewed the program and she said that she will relay the information to the Director.

I went to the Northampton HS to meet with the AD but he is not around. (He had a emergency and have to go home early). Was not able to talk to any business because the owners were not around.

For the rest of the day, I sent follow up e-mails and made about 15 phone calls. Unfortunately, I got mostly voice messages or no answer.

Day 66 - Winter Storm and a sign up!

We had a terrible snowstorm today so there is no school today and the library (where I always hang out to get new leads) is closed.

So I just made 10 follow up calls and sent follow up e-mails. After the morning conference call, I had a follow up conference call with one of my newest boot camp signup, Michelle. She just learned how to shop at Best Buy and want to learn more where she can shop.

I also received several e-mails asking for more information about MPM. One lead, Jessica whom I just talked yesterday was skeptical. I spent nearly an hour explaining to her why this is not a SCAM and not an MLM. I thought I lost her yesterday. She asked me to call her back anytime today. I did 3 times but got a voice message. I left a message and send her an e-mail that I called her. She didn't call but send an e-mail:"How do I sign up?". So I sent her the instructions to sign up and later, she e-mailed me that she has signed up.

Day 65 - Mixed Day

It was a mixed day today of good news and bad news. Good news because the leads I'm e-mailing and leaving voice messages are calling me back. It's bad news because one of the caller Kevin called me and told me he is not interested.

However, the other caller, Jessica, was initially skeptical but I talked to her and answered her questions for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, she has another call and so she asked me to call tomorrow morning.

I went around the business establishments to follow up. Talked to Mary Ann who told me that she has not decided yet. The other owners I talked to were all busy and didn't have time to meet.

Day 64- Start of Week 10

This is not a good day for me. I had several follow up calls and was able to talk to 2 of them. However, both of them told me that they'll. Bucky told me that it's too much work and that they don't have time for the business.

Nancy told me that she is not interested because she does not want to buy things just to earn money. I explained to her that she is just buying things she buys anyways. She will watch the video again and will call me back.

Day 63 - End of Week 9

This is the best week so far. I had 3 signups for the week and I have lots of interested leads. By interested, I mean leads calling and e-mailing for more informations. Now it's a matter of follow up.

Today I continued to send follow up e-mails to leads that I have left messages. I also sent e-mails to request for more information.

My total signups jumped to 5!

Day 62 - Very Busy Day

This day is very different because instead of me just calling and sending follow up e-mails, people are calling me and e-mailing me to reply! Wow!

Out of the 30 e-mails I sent, I got about 10 favorable responses asking for more information. Few responses were from leads I had been sending e-mails 2-3 times previously.

I also got a phone call from Norman whom I left a message few days ago.

Day 61 - Sign up Again!

This is the first time I have consecutive signups in 2 days! My follow ups are resulting in more interest in the the My Power Mall business.

My new signup is a lead of one booster club members who asked me to help her out. Since she is new, she can't very well explain the concept so I called Michelle and answered her questions. She seems to understand it and like MPM except the WCM wherein she will pay monthly. She said she will see first how the Business Mall works.

I feel lucky today because of the 12 calls I made, I was able to talk to 5. Scott asked me to call back because he and his family is about to go out. Bucky asked me to send more information and will call me. Patti is currently in a basketball tournament and so cannot talk.

One of my calls is really weird because when I talk to Art, he was upset and thought I was a telemarketer. When I told him about My Power Mall Get Paid to Shop program, he apologized. That was my opening to explain to him what he could benefit from being an MPM member. He said he'll evaluate the video and asked me to call back.

Day 60 - Another signup

Before this morning's conference call, I talked to Vincent who wants to know more about MPM. Since he is busy in the morning he asked me to call in the evening.

For the rest of the day, I made 8 calls and was not able to talk to anybody. I send a lot (20) of e-mails) to follow up and send information to leads.

During my evening call with Vincent I explained to him what MPM is all about and ans wered his questions. In the end, he said he is willing to try the FREE Business Mall first and then try to upgrade later to the WCM.Before he signed up, I set up the booster club mall for Northampton HS Booster Club so Vincent can sign up under them. (Vincent was referred by the AD of Northampton).

Day 59 - Getting Out There (it's only 32F)

It was relatively warm today (32F) so after the morning call with Ginny, I went out to follow my leads, the library and the schools. I got 4 new leads today from the library and from Easthampton Tailor Shop.

I made several follow up calls and was able to talk to CIOF which is one of the NPO I'm following up. Talk to Cinda who gave me an update. This matter will still be discussed by the board.

I made 8 more follow up calls but was not able to talk to anyone. However, I got e-mails from Holly and Karen to call back Friday.

Day 58 - Sorting out my Leads

Since there is no morning call, I went out followed some of my leads at the different schools including the booster clubs.

I was able to meet some of those and gave my card and got their information too. We agree to meet later this week to discuss their questions after they see the video.

It was a productive day for me having called about 20 and was able to talk to 8 of them. Most questions was about the payment for the World Changer Mall and how they will be paid. There were some concerns also about the MLM like pay structure although I explained that this is the best way to maximize payment to everybody.

Day 57 - Start of Week 9

I made 8 follow up calls today. Although I didn't get a chance to talk to any of them (all voice messages), I left a message on some (Those that I have not called 10 times and left a message).

However, some of those called e-mailed me and one made a phone appointment.

I got 4 new contacts today. 2 of them were from referrals by the school's AD and 2 were people I met at the library.

Day 56 - End of Week 8

This past week is exciting with lots of boot campers pursuing NPO leads. Most significant is Andrea's project to sign up private schools and the model presentation she is developing. We're all watching for the next epsisode on that.

Most weekend was spent of follow up calls and follow up e-mails. Got to talk to 2 leads Margo and Sean. Both of them have not watched the video but promised to look this weekend.

Most of follow up e-mails were inquiries and more information about MPM.

At the end of week 8, I still have 2 sign ups.

Day 53 - Results

I have to listen to Ginny's conference this morning on the road on my way to a meeting with Roy Associate, an accounting firm, who wants to use My Power Mall for their employees and clients.

I made about 10 follow up calls and was to talk to 3 of them. One was Russ whom I talked to but has not watched the video. The 2 others have watched the video but have not made a decision.

I also received 3 e-mails from leads I have left voice messages and e-mailed asking for more information.

Day 51 - Follow up of leads.

After Ginny's conference call this morning, I went to Northampton High School for a meeting with the Athletic director and some booster club members. However, when I arrived at the school, I was told that the AD called in sick so our meeting was reset.

I did some follow up calls and talked to Brittany, one of my leads. She was able to watch the video briefly and has a question of how she will be paid. I explained to her the payment card system. She will watch the video again.

Day 50 - Organizing all leads

After 7 weeks of getting new leads for the WC Reality boot Camp,I have compiled almost 100 names that I will be working on. The challenge is to turn this snarl of contacts into a manageable database.

I feel good about being a great starter of leads and who's not so much with the follow-through. So, I am organizing my list for an organized follow ups.

Called about 20 leads today and again gotten mostly voice messages. Got 2 appointments for the week.

I continued to send follow up and keep in touch e-mails to interested leads.

Day 49 - End of Week 7

This weekend, I had 2 follow up meetings with leads. One was Rick Fine who is involved in nonprofit organizations and the Natick MA high school program. He will look a the site and will give me a feeback.

Also, met with Lindsay who will be helping in promoting the fundraiser for my main foundation. She will also look at the web site and we will set another meeting next week.

I was able to sign up one more member this week so my total to date is now 2.

Day 47 - Results

During our conference call this morning, Ginny roled play with the boot campers on how to "follow up". This is very education and revealing because this is what we are doing now given the number of leads we have now.

Personally, this is my challenge. I have trying to organize all my leads and have an orderly follow up and be able to sign them up and grow their business.

I continued to send my Happy New Year and Keeping In Touch e-mails to my prospects. Several follow up calls were made but most of them again are voice messages.

There was a happy note though on one of my calls. One prospect Holly, has been e-mailing me to call her since the Holidays. Every time I call, she is on voice message. Then I would e-mail her to let her know that I called. She would e-mailed me back to give a time to call. Sometimes she also calls me back but for weird reasons, my phone would go to voice mail.

I'm happy that at least she is responding and will talk to her one of these days.

Day 46 - Results

Since I was in the area, I visited some business establishment that I have sent my letters and cards. Unfortunately, they have not arrived yet. I also went to other stores that I have not given my cards.

I made follow up phone calls and was able to talk to 5 people. Only 2 has seen the video and both were very interested. So I will make a follow up call tomorrow if they want to sign up.

Day 45 - Another Sign Up

Today, was snowing and so all the roads are not passable so I stayed home to do follow up calls and e-mails. I also updated record of all my leads.

I was able to sign up one of my leads, Heather from Chicago. We will have a conference call tomorrow to show her the back office.

Most numbers I called got a voice message and was only able to talk to 3 people. I sent more follow up letters.

Day 44 - Results

Mailed some of the letters to businesses today. I also sent more follow up e-mails in reply to questions about MPM.

I went to several meeting today at the library and at my daughter's school. I'm still following up the library's sign up but the Executive Director is still not there.

Did several follow up phone calls but didn't have more sign ups yet.

Day 42 - End of Week 6

I didn't get a chance to blog for the past 3 days but was quietly working on my leads.
Last Friday, I got the chance to follow up the library and some of the business establishment in the area just to say hi.

Yesterday, I did meet some parent in my daughter school some I have given my card and the others the first time I handed my card.

Today was spent calling leads and possible leads. I also sent e-mails to people I plan to follow up in the next few weeks.

Tomorrow, the WC Reality Boot Camp will meet again.

My signup is still the same as 1.

Day 39- Happy New Year!

I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday (first time)because of preparations for the New Year's Party which I am hosting with friends.

It was a chance to again to network and have a chance to tell friends what I do at My Power Mall. Gave away my cards and encourage them to look at the MPM site.

Made several phone calls today to people I'm trying to reach and will invite to become My Power Mall members.
