The American Express Gift Card toward generating $2,000 a month

Shuli's Blog illustrated how the American Express Gift can be the pathway to generating $2,000 using the Power of 5. She proved that after just reaching your Level 4,you (or the non profit)can already reach our target income.

Day 6 -Follow up

I spent the day reading blogs and updating my blogs. Also, did some follow ups with those I met yesterday.

I called Lily Liu and asked "What was your impression of the web site?". However, she told me that she didn't have the time yet to look at the site.

I also called Any Yip to follow up but I got a voice message from his phone.

Again, what to say

From time to time, I read about interesting ways to describe what we do and what My Power Mall is all about.

This is one of those from Sandy W's Blog Post. "There really is no opportunity like it--you can earn money back on everything you spend, you don't have to stock or sell any products, and you simply refer others to take advantage of the opportunity along with you!"

Shuli in her Blog Post put it this way: She explain that "...we are not selling anything but rather giving people a way to earn when they buy things and when they refer others. How many people you know buy gas and groceries and who will be charging gifts for the holiday season? Wouldn't you appreciate getting money back every time you did? How would you feel about helping people make money when you shop?

Eleanor Norton has a way of selling the World Changer Mall this way in her Blog: "... we have an opportunity to help a lot of people achieve their dreams with a business, which has very low start up cost of only $29.95 and only $15.95 a month maintenance. The thing is, you can actually recoup your cost and make a small profit by getting $25 worth of free gas every month. Let's see, cost just under $16, get $25 worth of gas vouchers...seems like a no brainer to me."

If you're staying home and not going out, Jean L's Blog suggested that: "... it's perfectly appropriate for anyone who has talked to others about MPM in the past to try those same people again with this fresh approach: ("I just started a World Changer Reality Boot Camp last Monday. The idea of the Boot Camp is to prove to the world that 25 regular people can start earning at least $2000 per month in 60 days. I'm gonna do it and I'm looking for a team of 10 other people to do it right along with me. Check out the website and let's talk about it")".

Another Idea Where to talk to Prospects

It is interesting to know how Herbert in his Herbert's Blog Post wrote about where to talk to prospects. By making a conversation with people who are giving to the Salvation Army in a Stop and Shop Supermart, he is in the right place because these are people who "giving" and will be interested in giving more.

Richard DeMint in his Blog gave us all an idea that your garage sale is a perfect place to meet prospects.

The Fear of Failing

It is a consolation to read all the boot camper's blogs and to know that you are not alone in your fear and fear of failing.

Julia Wilkin's Blog today (Nov 29) expressed this fear. I was just talking to one of my My Power Mall business partners Don Nwose who told me that as long as people "stay on it" and be persistent, they will be successful and make it.

I agree with Don. In fact, even if it takes us 90 days, 6 months or even 1 year, we are already a success! Imagine being able to help a non profit reach $2,000 a month?

Ed Brook's Blog Post share his experience of being stuck somewhere waiting for hours to get his chance of talking to prospects. Ed, you're not alone. We are all experiencing that. All I can say is, once you start talking to them, it does not stop.

Please also read how Lisa J is overcoming her fears in her Lisa J Blog Post. Pam's Blog also share how she is addressing her fear.

Day 5-Talking to Strangers

After this morning's conference call with Ginny and Jacki, I went straight to my friend Richard's Shop. He promised to help me talk to some of his customers.

For the 2 hours I was in his shop, there were 3 people who was kind enough at least to talk to me because they are not in a hurry. I explain to each one of them separately what I am trying to do for non profits in general (raising $2,000 per month). All of them seems interested and got my card. However, they were reluctant to give their information.

I stayed at the Panera Bread for an hour and tried to talk to several people. Two of them didn't want to be bothered and two got my card with giving any information.

During dinner, my friend Andy brought his friend Lily who is a PTA officer in her school. I told her about my project to raise $2,000 for non profit and asked if her school PTA might be interested. She is very interested and I got her information so I can get back to her. I was able to explain to her more of what MPM is doing while having dinner.

Although I only got 3 complete information today, I was able to talk to 10 people and spread the word about what we are doing.

Day After Thanksgiving and I'm Out of My Area

I know that for our boot camp, our priority are the local prospects to support the local cause we are helping. However, I am out of my area for the Thanksgiving weekend and have no other alternative but to seek prospects who might want to help me out.

I lived in this part of New Hampshire a few years back so I still have my network in the area. After this morning's conference call, I will be heading to meet a friend Richard who operates a coin and gold shop. My plan is to talk to his customers and find if they might be interested in helping me out.

There is a Panera Bread in the area so I will hanging out there with my computer because I will be on duty at the MPM Customer Live Chat from 3-5pm EST. Hopefully, I can stalk enough nerds there that I can introduce MPM.

Then I will be heading to Boston to have dinner with a friend Andy who is a booster club officer in his son's school. Andy promised to bring another friend who also involved in his school's PTA.

It will be a fun day!
